that's because I can make a shittylooking RM, and I can make a great looking RM. Most people are used to seeing the former.

The difference between the two files is simply one uses bad settings and the RVG2 codec, the other uses better settings and RV9.

wmv is actually quite good, I'd use it more myself if I could find a decent encoder (not very encoder savy here). I just stick with venerable mpeg-1 or 2 and leave it at that.

Well one thing to try with WMV is that you really do not need really large dimensions. I mean what point is there to have anything over 640 x 480 if the view is just going to put the video on full screen? Just keep the bit rate above a Meg and you should be set.
