Favorite Gundam Piolt?

Wing is only peoples favorite because it was the first one they had seen. First one shown on that shitty CN. The only thing Wing had going for it was a deep governmental plot. I like the fact that the pilots kind of did their own thing, living by their own rules. But over all it just wasn't nearly as appealing as most of the other series. First off it looses points for not being in terms of UC. Secondly the gundams were just overkill gone horribly wrong. Heavyarms had no basic weakness except for the fact that ever-other episode he ran out of rounds, but oh no 5 minutes later he already reloaded. The wing and wing 0 gundams just seemed over dramatized. They were more gundams for show than for general use. And you never see more than a few frames worth of repairs and/or refueling. It is never disclosed how or why these guys reload or move (IE: I want the propulsion and internal power sources disclosed. I must understand, not take for granted that the units have said amount of storage capacity.) If I wanted to see a bunch of overly powerful, units created and designed to look good while beating the ever living snot out of one another I would break out the G. Lastly everything in Wing was ripped from all the series before it: colony dropping, the man in the metal mask (which half of said series are guilty of), A single unit based souly for the purpose of gunfire, heave use of civilian aid, exc.

For examples of a good Gundam:
Seed, Stardust Memory, 08th MS, Zeta, ZZ (Double Zeta)
And of course The Original!

X was tolerable, atleast FAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR better than Turn-A. But there was somethign about the mecha that I just couldn't put my finger on...

Well, what do you expect? When in the last 50 years have the Japanese not copied someone else's ideas shamelessly? Take a look at "Dual", and you'll notice one of the mecha is a slightly altered copy of Unit-02 from Eva. Can we say plagiarism?

Also, putting up as an honorable mention for the list:

Emma Sheen from Zeta Gundam. One of the few Titans to stop and realize that th organization seemed to be racing the old ArchDuchy for the spot of 'Most deaths caused by:.' Tough at times, but definitely not seen as invulnerable, all things considerd, a well written and defined character. She also did a fairly good job of keeping herself alive during Gryps considering she was an Oldtype.

Well...except for the ending...God, it sucked that they had her die...but then again, given what I'm hearing about ZZ, maybe that's not entirely a bad thing...time will tell *planning to check out ZZ after V...yeah, I'm aware that's not chronologically correct, and no, I don't care*

Trust me, i *hated* Quess too. I literally yelled at her while watching...yes I was lame enough to do this...although it only happens once in awhile (which goes to show how much I hate her...just like Miaka).

BTW, I'd say this is one of those cases where yelling is considered normal (truth be told though, I was rooting for them to kill Gyunei more...the human shield bit was fucking low no matter how you look at it...and DEFINITELY not worth it for Quess's sake)

I would have to say Camielle from Gundam Z. He seemes to be one of the more stable pilots in the gundam universe.

Schwartz beuder(Kei ogi) from G gundam. he was so cool. and he could kick ass even without a gundam.
