You know for once I totally agree with you. Lain was very disappointing to me as well and I felt like I wasted my time on it. I mean it was good until the very end and then...nothing...don't explain like 60 - 70% of the show.

Although I disagree with the Eva TV ending, but you already knew that.

BTW I don't know if it's wise to admit on this forum that you're downloading anime. I think someone has already said that though.

Dude, I've ended up spending hundreds of dollars for legit copies of stuff that I originally saw on Morpheus and Kazaa. If not for P2P programs, I'd still be living under my little rock, thinking that every anime ever made was crap, and being completely oblivious to such things as homegrown video editing.

The more stuff I get from Kazaa, the more stuff I end up buying. Piracy = good.

Yeah, that part scared the fuckin' shit outta me... except she wasn't naked, she had the green and red striped shirt that the alien wore when it visited her. Oddly, the striped shirt was even scarier than if she'd just gone in there naked... that was one seriously disturbing episode (more so than normal, I mean)

now one of the things i found that bore the most resemblance to eva was how the Vermillion's were actualy man-made D-1's ... now that was pretty interesting ... kind of like how the Evas are enslaved/man-made angels, Ha, man utilizing his enemy as the tool for his victory ... quite funny. they even had the entry plug thingy ... jst that they couldn't gfeel their pain or control them with their thoughts.
