What was that piece of music during the whole intro of part 1 of the doc?
"If you believe in yourself, eat all your school, stay on milk, drink your teeth, don't do sleep, and get your eight hours of drugs, you can get WORK!"

On the other hand, there's something to be said about respecting other peoples' requests and wishes. If people don't wish to be part of something that will be distributed to hundreds of people on the web, that's their right, and to completely disregard their request while ALSO poking tasteless fun at them is inexcusable. And then to be rude when they complain, that's just plain immature and petulant.Machine wrote: Go cry me a river dude

And Akuma, you were wrong in every word you said. Only a complete asshole would spew such disrespectful, self-righteous bullshit. No one has a right to publically ridicule someone else and then say that it's all just "for fun."
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

It has nothing to do with the content of the clip.
Its just because we asked not to be in it. And we were told that was fine. Rozard was very polite about it at JACON.
I was the only one in More Than Toast who specifically asked not to be taped.
My reasons don't matter. It only mattered that I didn't want to be taped
But, for the record, I don't want anything to be associated with my videos EXCEPT my videos. I think showing my face on video is very egotistical and I don't like it at all.
I make amvs because I like editting and I like showing people my perspective on a certain anime or song. I dont do it to be famous or to bring attention to myself.
The footage itself wasn't bad, though the caption was obviously inappropriate.
The funny thing is, Kwasek asked me just the other day if I would participate in an AWA doc. I told him it really depended on the context, obviously I wouldn't expect to be left out of footage from a group gathering, but I wouldn't want to do any interview/one on one style footage. But it obviously it doesn't really matter if I want to be filmed or not.

Ok Obviosuly, this is getting way out of hand so I'm going to end it right here and now!
1. MTT was in the Akon doc in the segement "Meanwhile at Jacon"
2. Rozard had told me not to put them in the doc BUT I ignored his message (hence Rozard is not at fault)
3. RVP and Hypoedermic (my co-hosts) had no idea about this so they should not be held responsible either.
4. Did I ignore the request? YES!
5. Did I put them in the Doc? YES!
6. MTT was only put in this doc for laughs and was not meant to harm anyone! Jokes may not be tasteful to some!
7. I had no intention of making them look bad. It was all for fun. But I did not respect their request and thus is has gone on.
I admit I did not respect there wishes and I did put them in the documentary even though I was told that they did not want to be in it, so I apologize for that.
However, I am unable to remove them from the Doc. I have spoken to...I believe it was Zabet about this...
So if you want to take out your anger take it out on me and not on anyone else who has tried to defend in this situation.
DO NOT be angry at Akuma, members of RVP or Hypeodermic since it was soley up to myself and myself alone to do this.
So I've had enough of this. Let bygons be bygons

I do have to agree with what MTT and Kusoyaro about what respecting people who don't want to be taped or part of something. I don't see a problem with being taped for the Documentary, but not is it is then requested not to be on it.
I also agree with Kusoyaro about the comments made by §_Akuma_§. I find them to be on the border of insluting and really wonder how he would react if someone did something against his wishes.
I like the Documentary and think what was taped and shown to be pretty much OK since most idividuals did everything in the eye of the camera willingly. I think of you do tape someone who does request not to have part of a whole segment of themselves, then It should be respected. This again could also get into legal issues if someone is really pissed off.
I do have to agree that the comment about suicide is a bit touchy with lots of people.
Basically, I love what Machine & Crew do and I just wouldn't want to see something spoil that...

Beside the fact that they didn't want to be in the doc and were put in anyway, what's probably most important and most overlooked is the suicide issue. There's no such thing as a tasteful joke based on an attempted suicide. On top of that, I'm sure MOST of the people here don't visit the MTT forums regularly, and thus would not get that joke anyway.

For those of you that have other opinions on the matter. I believe we have heard all points of view and I would appreciate it very much if we can keep those opinions to themselves on this matter. At least in this topic. If you have something to say please contact us on aim. I would be more then happy to talk with you about this and I'm sure others would too.
