I think that maybe the number one great thing in anime is whenver someone says something stupid enough to make another person (or persons) fall over. You know, falling down anime style.

That and whenever someone's head gets huge and veins pop out when they are pissed at someone and are yelling (usually happens with women getting mad at men)

So it's not a quote, but a general anime thing.

I love it in any anime when someone says something bad about character A and then it goes to a scene of character A sneezing. For some reason this really cracks me up.

Harriet (in Argento Soma) - Fairy-kun (to the gigantic frankenstien-like alien monster)

Oh and in RahXephon in one episode whenever Nanamori gets mad/shocked the windscreen wipers on her car flick.

Oh, and don't forget that whenever anyone says something or does something completely off the wall, all the anime characters in the vicinity get this huge sweatdrop on their head.

Heck, funniest thing I saw relating to this happened in Slayers. Gourry said something really stupid, sweatdrops appear on everones head, and then Lina takes hers off and wails him with it. Good stuff
