Anime-style commercial?

This is what I discovered. When my sister and I were watching Last Comic Standing on NBC last night, we saw this AOL commercial. We saw a guy who was drawn practically anime-style doing these stunts while holding, I believe; an AOL messenger. Is this a beginning of Americans accepting anime as a branched-out style for adults?

What it is is that bastard AOL is capatolizing off the goodness that is anime. Aol is a piece of shit that makes the internet into a playgroud for all the fucking morons in this world. And... its way to fuckin flashy, sounds reasonable though, due to its comsumers inteligance level.

Heh..just a few min ago I saw a commercial that looked like it was drawn by Toshihiro Kawamoto (Cowboy Bebop), in fact it was! It was some hand held pocket book device or something they're advertising, but payed homage to anime alright.

i saw that same commercial while watching adult swim. i thought it was a preview for a new show at first. and yes aol sucks ass.

That guy was kind of cute. I thought it was a new show too. It pissed me off <b>so</b> bad when I saw that aol thingie in his hand! Man, I hope this doesn't become a trend...

I thought the commercial was well done, until I seen the f_cking AOL logo pop up. I wish they would stop sending me there cd's in the mail.

Yah i saw it a couple times to and thought it was a new anime aswell, then when i saw the aol device i thought meh maybe its a new show that is coresponding in advertising with aol, then i saw the end and was like sonfabitch!

Just save the AOL cd's, get a friend with a shotgun, and do some skeet shooting.

As for the commercial, I also saw it on Adult Swim. The animation was excellent, but it really bugged me all that good animation was wasted for AOL.
