What's the worst American animated show you've seen?

I hate any cartoon that promotes itself. For example the Jackie Chan Adventures. What the CRAP were thety thinking!? I also hate Disney series that are based on their movies. For example Little Mermaid, Hercules, Tarzan, etc. The ONLY Disney series I liked is Gargoyles (great plots and subplots and VIOLENCE with BLOOD and GUNS).

A product of the 80s myself, I've come across some GEMS of American crap. Most of which have been mentioned already (especially that New Kids on the Block dren. You have both my respect and pity, Doomrider ). But there are some out there that a list such as this shouldn't be without:
Stone Protectors -- I'll admit I used to collect Treasure Trolls. Hell, I think I still have a couple in the top of my Closet of Doom. But when this thing invaded the airwaves, it scared me off of them. Basically it was an attempt to make Treasure Trolls appeal to boys without questioning their sexual orientation.
Pinky, Elmyra, and the Brain -- Possibly the only slip-up Warner Brothers really did for me. Pinky and the Brain rocked when they were part of Animaniacs, but why, oh WHY did they have to throw Elmyra in there? Yes, she was a funny character, but that was because Buster and Babs always found a hilarious way to outsmart her. It just wasn't right for her to unwittingly out-do Pinky and the Brain.
Max Steel -- I can't believe this list has gone three pages without someone mentioning this one. Yet another 30-minute commercial for a crappy line of toys, and really bad CGI motion capture. The character models are literally slapped onto the background, making everything look like it's made in zero gravity. Not to mention lipsynch that rivals Speed Racer in atrocity.
And to the above three I'll tack on just about everything Hanna-Barbera did, with the exclusion of their work on Tom and Jerry before they split from MGM in 1957, The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest (1996), Charlotte's Web (1973), some of their new Cartoon Cartoons on CN, and Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island (1998). Hey at least the monsters were REAL that time....

If you're going to rag on Max Steel, then why not rag on Action Man, the seriest that was designed to compete with a series that was trying to promote action figures and cheap marketing.
Nobody's said Jimmy Neutron for marketing? They made action figures for that shit before it even had a movie.

Now that we're on the subject of CGI American animation, did anyone catch the show "Roughnecks" on the WB at 6am weekdays? It's basically an animated series based on "Starship Troopers" (the original book concept, not the movie!). It was pretty cool, but it didn't last too long. I liked the fact they actually stuck to the concepts in the book about the combat E.V.A. (extra-vehiclular-activity, not Evangelion) suits, and they kept the main characters in the Roughnecks (Johnny, Desi, Ace, etc).
I'd have to agree "Gargoyles" was pretty cool, until they re-hashed it on ABC. They basically made a spin-off series that was incredibly similar, just like Disney did with "Doug". Everyone in New York becomes aware of their existence, finds out they turn to stone during the day, and a group of decent, upstanding white citizens form some kind of pseudo-KKK masonry cult that goes around trying to kill them during daylight hours. Of course, the greatest twist of all, is that Xanatos lets them stay in their old castle again, out of the kindness of his heart!
