AMV ideas that will never happen on the org

I did make a controversial vid for DBZ that has had extreme haters and extreme lovers. I used the song Jacob & Sons from Joseph and the Amzing Technicolour Dreamcoat, and made it so King Vegeta was Jacob, and all the saiyans were his sons. Don't know what I was on when I came up with that.

Hey Ari! I wanna see an Innagadavita vid, I'm sure you could make it work!

Not really, if done right...just seems given the song is 17 minutes in full and a good chunk is instrumental...well, that's gonna be a lot to work with...if you still want to do it, more power to you (and good luck to you and your comp...that one's gonna pack a whallop...)

Have you thought about Reign The Conqueror...? Seems like a Perfect fit to me, just to me people hate that show so they wouldn't know much about it. It's one of my personal favorites.

Heh, that's why I'm still tossing it around. I was thinking of cutting it into sections and using a multi-anime medly - like some of the 'group' projects I've heard about. But it's only an idea, I never storyboarded it, I just think about it every time I listen to that song and put a few notes in my project folder. ^_^;; I never really thought about the fullsized finished project (I'd never get it compressed enough to use the entire song in one file - not for distribution at high quality), just which of my anime titles I'd like to connect with different parts in the song (and I *like* the instrumental part ^_~). So it came as a surprise that no one would do a vid for the song - I never looked to see if it had been done, but I thought it had.

I guess it isn't as popular as I thought.

Although I left the Wildchild part out of the name because my friend's electrician smashed the cd when he knocked over his cd rack. So I no longer had the cd case to check the back for the exact name.

Popularity's kind of hard to determine with AMVs (personally, I like it) I think part of the reason it hasn't been done is due to the length (as far as I've seen there is no officially shortened edit...maybe that's why radio stations only seem to run it once every 6 months or so...)
Then again, this may just be rambling...if you still plan to do it, go for it...it would def. be interesting to see someone take on that song.
