For me it is Evangeleon. Because in my opinion no other show had such indepth worked - out charcters and plot. And because fight scenes kick fucking ass. And because it is a story about A Man At War With God.And because I am watching it again (7th time now) and still find new things in it. And because [can go on for 8 more hours but too lazy to type] 8)

The only scene that makes me laugh is when they first discovery the girl has been bit and they are discussing it with the mayor. Those 5 minutes don't ruin the rest of the movie for me.
yea that one scene is particularly bad ... and when D fights that mutant that warps space for the first time ..."and now ... i'll ... kill you with ... my favorite ... weapon ... !" yea that part was really bad too. But i dislike dubs in general, so for me to say a dub's even good it would ahve to be really good.

Rurouni Kenshin,(tv series) great storyline, great characters and one thing that most animes can't boast: a main character who doesn't want to kill! (yes I know about Kenshin being the Battousai, so don't go shoving that fact in my face, thanks)

And if only the producers of the anime kept with the original storyline, and that is my ONLY dislike about the series.

Actually, there's too many anime where the main character doesn't want to kill...

Trigun, Eva, Sailormoon... You could say even Goku isn't a killer at heart...

too many

But RK is indeed a tasty one
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

true ... thats quite a reoccurnig trend ... even in RahXephon, Ayato dosn't want anyting to do with Terra in the beggining and usualy only kills the dolems because he's thrown in to an psychotic rage by somehting they've done. At least in the beggining he dose ... watch the rest ... it's guud ...
but i still want to see RK.

Of all titles in Japan's top 100 listing, I'd pick the comedies Doraemon, Slayers and Ranma 1/2. They maybe old but never bore.

Heh, I forgot about those especially Goku, whom, I SHOULD know since DBZ was the first anime I got into, although I was watching the Funi versions....*sighs* Trigun, I'd forgotten since I ahven't seen it yet and know zip about it so far. Shinji is a fourteen year old kid and its understandable he doesn't want to kill, but he's killing monsters (the angels) right, so he shouldn't have too many qualms about taking one out? And as for Sailor Moon.....I remember the Sailor Senshi getting killed in the end, but then again that series was centered around the strength of love rather than physical strength.....<.<...Did Usagi have to kill someone once? I missed a huge chunk of the series for a while...
