Anime I hate?

Love Hina: The uppercut to the sky thing gets old fast.

Earth Defender Mao Chan: Not that funny. Just seems to ride upon the fandom behind love hina.Can't compare to the excellent Rizelmine or DiGi Charat

Fruits Basket:The characters are so typical, and the last 3 eps make no sense.

The anime I really hated was BEYBLADE

The concept was differnet and new (who thinks of spin tops that fight and you can build)

The toys were eye captureing i even bought a few

The anime was a piece of junk. Soundtrack sucked. Character personilties seemed like aleins expect for Ray causse he was my favorite. Now the voice acting.............

God, they took Samurai X and turned it into a saturday morning kid's show. They shoulda made him darker. oh well, he dies of a disease, anyway. yea samuri x was much better, but kenshin is also a good show it is violant if u watch the uncut stuff, i think that samuri x was a big hit, but they wanted to target it twords a bigger awdiance, so they made it less violant and stuff it is an ok show i think

Mm, anime I hate all the way through? Ninku - I watched it once and never will again, poor animation, uninteresting plot, too strange characters, nothing, nothing at all that I liked about watching it.

Another would be La Blue Girl - repetitive, inane, the plot was a joke, the hentai was pure crap, repeated scenes, lousy drama, ridiculous voice actors (yes, I mean the japanese) and bad characterization. Even for a hentai anime, it sucks. And it's 6hrs long with a sequel - gagh...

Pokemon - I want to say it's gay, but that's an insult these days to homosexuals, so I'll say it makes me queasy instead. I watch this and feel like I'm watching some twisted 'pg' kiddie porn (without sex) or something, it just twists my stomach worse than 'Mr. Roger's Neighborhood' ever did - and that show gave me nightmares as a child, it was so wrong. Okay, I'll say it - it's gay, and it's embarrassing to see. I feel sorry for the voice actors, the animators and everyone who is held responsible for making it. I feel so bad for them it makes me sick to my stomach.

Yeah, that's it for now, but I know there were a few others (Golden Boy would fall here, but I only saw the first dvd so rightfully I can't complain about it.)

Beyblade - It's about freaking spinny tops for crying out loud.

Hamtaro - Just watching the theme song made me want to bludgeon myself.

Digimon - I like Pokemon, this to me is Pokemon rip off that is not just a rip off but done horribly. I mean the baby Pokemon in Pokemon at least actually look like they're supposed to be babies. The young Digimon look like cigar smoking midget versions of their evolved form and in the anime they de-evolve after every fight. WTF?

Windaria - Ugh, I saw that back when I would rent anything that was anime at Blockbuster. Biggest waste of $4 and 1 hour that I've ever had.

Yu-Gi-Oh - Truthfully never watched it but it just looks like another Pokemon rip off to me.

Monster Rancher - I really loved the games of this series... but the anime blew. It had nothing to do with the games aside from the monsters that were in it.

Heh, I love the way you describe the 'cigar smoking midgets.' I think my problem is I'm too old, and I saw Digimon first. Btw, I've been told Digimon was done before Pokemon - any idea where I can get factual information on which came first of the mons? Pokemon fans (yes, I have friends who like it) say it came first, other people sad Digimon - all I know is that Monster Ranchers came after them both (and this hasn't been verified either). ~_~;;;

I'm not entirely sure which came first. Pokemon was released here before Digimon was but I'm not sure about in Japan. and the Monster Rancher anime came last out of the 3 but the Monster Rancher games were released before anything that is Digimon or Pokemon.

Actually, I think Digimon did come out first, but not as an anime. In america, they released Digimon as digital monsters... LITERALLY. they had those mechanical pet thing like Tamagachi's going on. U know, where you hold the small plastic thing and it moves and eats and ppos and grows up and all that stuff. But that's all i know. The Pokemon game came out after the whole Digimon Tamagachi, virtual pet thing.

::shrugs:: but it's just a guess, and my knowledge of stuff isn't something that should really be trusted..... ^^;;

dude digimon sucked badly. It was just the same dam thing over and over. It had sad plot lines and every time discovered a new digivaloution it was just another dam ploy to keep us hooked. They succeeded with all the little kids but after the first 2 seasons i quite watching out of bordom.
