wel whenever I try to rip in DVD2AVI the preview screen is like green and black (mesed up) and when the actual ripping begins it says it will take 66 hours and it looks like nothing is happening. In smartripper , when I begin ripping it appears nothing is happening either, like progress wise

Well I had a few problems ripping DVDs the other day too, using SmartRipper. I tried ripping DareDevil, it got to 96% and then said "Quit Ripping?" as if I'd pushed the "Abort" button. I choose "No", but it just sits at 96% with no activity. I had the same problem with GTO DVD 1 , it got to 74% and stopped. And after this happened I got a plethora of MacroVision faults, then my system locked up and I had to restart. Why was that happening?
