I think I could like AC/DC... if they weren't so damn repetetive. You hear three songs from them, you've heard 'em all. :?

An old band, grew up with them, but an old favorite....... indeed !

AC/DC has always been my favorite band as for playing the same stuff... this is how I see it

At least you know they wont change (like Metallica who changes their sound every time the market changes always usually pissing off their hardcore fans). It may just be me but I feel that they are not always playing the same stuff. The only places where I agree would be in the first 3 albums (High Voltage, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, and Let There Be Rock) however i feel Powerage is a bit different, more bluesish with more raw power. Highway To Hell in my opinion is very different from the others in matters of production, the riffs are tightly strung and really played well. Back In Black sounds different from the others has that gritty power that I love about their music, more fast tempo to it in this one. For Those About To Rock in my opinion is nothing but a rehash of Back In Black just with more beat and power (make no mistake i love this album, my 2nd favorite) i would admit it sounds like Back In Black. Flick The Switch is just RAW hard rock at its finest, a truly underrated album that I have to admit sounds a bit like Powerage. As for Fly On The Wall and Blow Up Your Video I look at them as the same type of album, more poppish and lazy I feel the worst of their stuff but VERY different from what they usually do which is why I think its their worst. As for Razor's Edge sounds in means of production different form all the others but has a good amount of rhythm and beat, almost like combining Highway To Hell with Back In Black. Ballbreaker I guess is what For Those About To Rock was to Back in Black, I like this album as well. As for Stiff Upper Lip I feel its different yet slightly the same.

When it boils down to it they all sound somewhat the same but thats their style. In the end they are a true "rock 'n' roll" band (hard to find these days at least from my point of view) and I feel that not changing too drastically is a good thing. I mean would you like it if Motorhead turned from a metal/punk band to an polka band. Yeah they change but that doesn't mean it was a good thing, however it would be funny. Yeah change can be good but I feel it isn't always the right thing. I feel AC/DC shouldn't change because I dont think they could truly change since all they wanted to do was play rock 'n' roll.

Lets face it most people have only heard Thunderstruck, Back In Black, Shook Me All Night Long, Highway To Hell, and TNT. Honestly I feel there are MUCH better music in their library than those its just that no one seems to care. Me on the other hand I dont have a particular favorite I love them all however I hate Thunderstruck because its so overrated.

However it could be just me rambling on and lack of sleep, so thats my speech for the day.

I spent most of my early teens lissing only to AC/DC, and i still feel their music good. Also in college i had a art class and the professor for it, did the cover art for the Razors Edge album i thought that was cool. He also did the cover art for Metallica's Master of Puppets album.
