do your parents try to watch anime with u?

WhenI was in high school I tried to get my mom into Lodoss War, cuz she likes Fantasy novels (so do I, matter of fact). She didn't really like it though. Last month I went home to visit her, and I bought Read or Die and we watched it one night. For some reason she loved that one. Maybe she related to Agent Paper. (I hated the dub, but she wouldn't let me watch it in the original Japanese -sigh-)

Heh...my dad rolls his eyes and my mom well...she thinks Sailor Moon =anime.... (I have tried to correct her BELIEVE me)....I watch anime with my older brother...he's 25...but my parents really could care less....

My mom walked in on me watching a partially hentai scene and it wuz very uncomfortable. she thinks that anime ruined mi bro's life and it'll ruin mine..wutever

my dad liked princess mononoke and spirited away...he watches anime with me but when hes busy and im watching it he gets annoyed...the same with video games....

My house is big, I fortunetly don't have that problem.

I turn my music up as loud as I want as well, and they don't even notice unles my door's open.

She thinks Sailor Moon is the ONLY anime....that Sailor Moon= Japanese Animation end of story...did that clarify?

well ive been trying to get my mom to watch Cowboy Bebop since she has seen some of my amvs with it. yes she knows how bloody it is but she doesnt care what i watch since im over the age limit any ways. she does want to see Animatrix though since she really likes those movies. other then that she doesnt really care what anime i like. my sister likes some anime though. she likes DBZ, and Love Hina. she has read the manga only so far. my dad doesnt really care. though he did take me to see Dragon Ball Z movies 7 and 8( original japanese theatrical release btw).

My parents don't understand anime at all. They try to like it for my sake but it just doesn't work. It's starting to look pathetic. . .

The only stuff they really like are Hayao Miyazaki's movies. But who wouldn't!?
