As much as I hate Daniels posts, I do hate American made items...I will never buy an american car definetly. Americans dont put their hearts into what they are creating like foriegners do...

Oh, lovely. Mind you, a respected member of this community said that I, personally, was the reason the country was going to hell because I believe this, but:

I believe that every country is made up of - believe it or not - human beings. Human beings are never perfect or infallible. Even if they live in Japan. Thus, no society is perfect. Even Japan's.

Every society has its good and bad points. It is just a matter of personal opinion in deciding which society best fits your individual personality. That would be the best fit for you, but there is no such thing as one eternal "best society." Each one has its own problems.

Yep, evil isn't it? I'll be off sending the country to hell now. *waves brightly*

They used to. But yeah, not anymore, it seems. Then again, why should they? Most corporations don't put their heart into America or its workers. Why work for the company's success when they'll ship your job out at the drop of a hat to some naive, underqualified Third World denizen, who they will then screw over when increasing wages might hurt the bottom line?

Oh yeah, a bad thing about Japan - police visits. Although you don't have to agree to them, it's considered strange and suspicious. Twice a year or so, the local police stop by and "check in". They collect data from your neighbors, too, and save it. Sounds kind of :x to me.

I love my country and I love Maryland more. So if you are bad mouthing america please go fuck yourself. Everything anymore even japanese cars are made in third world countries so don't tell me about superior foreign workmanship. There are a hell of a lot more old ford chevys and dodges on the road than the jap crap that was susposed to be better. Oh well.

Europe is more tasty.

Japan makes Honda and Pocky.

No.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Agreed.

Another reason why Japanexe products are superior: VOLUNTARY honest labeling! There are few Truth in Advertising laws in Japan even though there is freedom of speech. But then...

[looks at a bag of Asian snack in the pantry]
Oh, look, clearly labeled:
Honey Flavored Crispy Snack

Sure, there's no nutrition facts like The States, but at least "Flavored Crispy Snack" is 1.5cm, two lines, and 12% of the bag's face dimension vertical, 72% horizontal. Additionally, you have contrasting colors.

Let's take a good American product which I like very much. Hot Pockets. Who can argue with that? Let's take the box... below the Hot Pockets logoplate, you'll see, in light grey compressed letters, the "disclaimer" description. Like this:

HOT POCKETS
BRAND FLAVOURED STUFFED PASTRIES <---

They don't pull that in Japan for sure!
