C-Kon - Oct. 3-5 - South Bend, IN - Anybody going?

First off: www.ckon.org

Wanted to check to see if any AMV people were planning on coming to this con. From the look of the convention center it looks to be pretty big in that aspect, but from an attendance aspect, I'm skeptical. Their web site has been pretty neglected in terms of details for actual events. They said a while back in their forums that there's going to be an "AMV Thingy". Today they made a post saying they're getting ready to post a really big site update, which will include the AMV rules, so I suppose that denotes it'll be a contest. I made a pretty big list of questions I wanted answered in regards to the contest so hopefully they will touch on that in the update.

I can't say I'm like "TOTALLY PSYCHED" for this con, but hey, it's something. *shrug*. Who knows. Maybe Indiana actually has this huge underground anime scene that I can't see (I just recently moved here, and it hasn't looked too promising :\). So that's one of the main reasons why I wanted to see if anyone on here was actually planning on being there. If there's enough, maybe we could have a mini-AMV Panel or something. We shall see.

Dude! You're going to an Indiana con but you won't come to any TX (your home state) cons?

HAHAHAHA WTF MJ? Why the hell would I go to some small ass con 1300 miles away and NOT go to local TX cons, assuming I still lived there?

I thought I told you I was moving.. Ah well. :\
