My parents know I like anime so whenever we go shopping, they always point out a title very loudly. It embarrasses me to no end. 
It's funny, because my parents did watch Eva. My mother liked it and my father did, too, even though he acts very casual about it. My dad didn't watch anime until he saw Eva, and whenever I was watching it he would sit down in the middle of it. He liked it even though he missed Episodes 1-4 and 7-11.
Even though I like Eva, I don't think I would've if I had missed all of those episodes!
My mother also liked Cowboy Bebop, InuYasha, Rurouni Kenshin, and Trigun. The only problem is that she can't remember half of the characters' names.
So my parents are pretty cool about it, all in all.
