Vash influenced or rather reinforced my belief in total pacifism or at least never killing. Griffith from Berserk solidified my hatred of manipulation (that son of a bitch). And Kazuma from scryed showed me that classification in meaningless because all people have unlimited and unpredictable potential.
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

Vegeta(DBGT)-Attitude.

Pretz(Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystals)-Comical Side in the heat of battle and when he's not supposed to be funny.

Kaske Yoska(Dual: Parallel Universe)-Acts innocent and tries to stay out of trouble and will try anything to get things his way.

A-Ko(Project A-Ko)-Unpredictable but yet predictable at times.

and Heie(Yu Yu Hakusho)-Fast and sleek. You never know what he'll be holding up his sleeve as a trump card.

Don't you dare!

Anime has too many cool smoking characters. Wolfwood, Saitou, Shishio, Sanji, Smoker (ha ha!), the cast of Cowboy Bebop. . . . .and many more.
Reality is for people who lack imagination.

Evil Urchin wrote:After watching Trigun I essentially renounced killing anything, since that whole message made a lot of sense to me, and to this day if I even accidentally kill an ant I feel bad about it, but other then the occasional downer after an insect death I'm actually a lot happier with myself then I ever was before.
When I was watching Trigun, I admired Vash for his steadfastness over not killing things. Though he didn't actually influence me about that. It was Osamu Tezuka who first did! Sure, he wasn't an anime character, but I strongly believe in the messages he tried to get across to the readers of his manga. Like in the case of Vash, all life is precious, and we should look out for fellow living creatures. They deserve life as much as we do, even though they might not be as intelligent as us (or incredibly disgusting, in the case of bugs). I think it's alright to kill animals for food, though. Life begets life. One sacrifices their life so another can keep on living. But other than for food, someone shouldn't kill unless their own life is in danger.

that's just a bhudist view :?

Vashes view wasn't look out for other living things, or anyhting like that.

His view was "No one has the right tot ake the life of another" He didn't have a problem with mishaps, accidents, and natural death. He had a problem with killing and murder.
