As a fellow newbie
Here's some basics I've learned:
- Rip into Huffyuv and keep everything in huffyuv until the very end when you convert to a smaller format.
- Don't play with framerates. If your source isn't at 25 FPS your final video shouldn't be either.
- <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/avtech/">This</a>, <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... /">this</a>, and Premieres help file are probably the most useful aides you'll find anywhere. You won't and don't need to understand everything in the first link but it's still good to read it.
- Use the highest quality source you can get but at the end make sure to compress it. This includes audio also.
Congrats on having the guts to post your first video. I've just started my fourth and still haven't made anything I consider worth distributing.
