just wondering if Soul Calibur II is for the PS2. in my Tips & Tricks magazine it says it is but ive only seen commercials for it on the Gamecube.

SC2 is definantly for all the systems. Haven't you heard?
Each get a special character:

PS2: Old guy from Tekken (not gonna try and spell his name.)
x-box: Spawn (my fav but I got a PS2)
Gamecube: Link (I heard he is cheap as hell)

It was released on the GB, XBOX and PS2. So...yes.

yes ive seen all those commecials but they always had the gamecube logo at the end which confused me. damn it i wish spawn was on the ps2 version.

Isn'tt Sould Calibur that arcade product with a "conquest" theme, where you would login to your character and fight another player's DPR (Discrete Pattern Recognition) AI? Adn then you'd fight yourself, and "teach: your character moves?

SC for the arcade was fun.

I get to choose between PS2 or Gamecube when I buy it. I think I'll go with GC, because I like Link more. Now if only I had an Xbox.

I've got it on the box, Spawn is cool. But I prefer Ivy, her sword rocks.

All I can say is Link really rocks on the GC version! Also the controls are really fine, despite the unusual controller layout. You block with either B/L/R and have the 3 attacks on A/X/Y, nice to reach with the thumb for all button combos...

Well, im the best at soul caliber 1 with that chinese girl xiugisha or whatever....and that game was hot, so i bet soul caliber is hot also ^_^
