It really dosen't matter if Bandai knows or not.
There is no copyright on the title "Hack" and the fact that there is a title diference is another thing.
I have seen this series and it deals nothing with MMORPGs in anyway so you don't have to worrry.

I don't think the CBS website has downloadable episodes or ANY of the stuff listed.

He/she is probably referring to .hack//sign and the CBS show Hack which means NOTHING!
