CompUSA is running a promo that ends today (Wednesday, July 3) on a 50 pack of Philips CD-Rs. Get a $5 instant savings and then send in for a $15 mail in rebate. When all is said and done you paid $0.01 plus tax. The CD-Rs are not the cheap kind, either. They are a spindle of 50 700MB/80 minute 40x CD-Rs. The limit is one mail in rebate per household (there may or may not be a limit on the $5 instant savings). It may not be the brand or type you prefer but considering you could give away 50 CDs of your AMVs at cons this year at no cost it's a fine deal.

Update: My local Office Depot is offering another good rebate offer on a 100 pack of Imation CD-R (40x, 700MB/80 minute). The pack normally sells for $45. Office Depot is taking $11 off at checkout and there is a $30 mail in rebate available. You'll end up paying $4 plus tax for 100 CD-Rs. The offer is good all this week through Saturday, July 13. Not all stores may be offering this deal so check with your local Office Depot.
