You should watch the whole series in a day... that's where the really fun is, expecially when you get to the last few episodes and Death & Rebirth/EoE.

Eva should only be seen in a marathon. Actually, it was the first series I saw all the way through, so I'm just a bit biased...

correction ... if you watch eva,then jsut watch eva, don't toss other shows into the mix. When your done with eva and your done twitching in teh corner resume your normal watching habits. Eva is like Grappa ... it dosn't mix well with anything, except water.

That was my point, actually--Eva marathon. All 26 eps plus the End of Evangelion movie (we decided to skip Death and Rebirth). Yeah.

Ah dammit! I think I mixed it. Can I just watch Death and Rebirth as a subsitute for the entire series?

i thought you ment all in one sitting ... somone on the org tried to do that ... drunk ... they didn't make it past ep 3 ... or volume 3 ... can't remember.

Some people say that this is the best anime ever. And I am starting to believe them.

While others consider it one of the worst, most over rated animes of all time.....They are right.

thats better ... meh sure your free to ahve yoru own opinion on Eva, and yea it is severely over rated. But it is also very good if you get past the sea of mostly mindless fans.

When we were living together Sitahtmai made me sit down and watch all his DVDs in on night. He couldn't make it past DVD4, but i was lucky enough to make it all the way through. It's an okay series; not THE best, but good indeed.

I havent seen the series yet, so you aint alone buddy, but i have read the manga, up to volume 7. I thought the manga was pretty good. I also heard that this anime is the most controvertial anime ever, why is that, can anyone tell me...
