Well..I've been working on an evanescence vid (though not to that song), and I do plan on finishing it. To me..it dosen't really matter if the songs been used before or the anime or whatever. I'm doing it because I had the idea..thought it worked and decided to try it. When it's up for download..if it get bad reviews or no one downloads it because of the anime and/or artist..no worries...that's not the reason I did it..

I have to admit, almost every single different anime has a music video to the song , wake me up inside. Some are really good but it's just a little overdone.

There better not be one for yyh...I keep watching them, but eventually I'll have to make my own if I don't find one that uses the theme I hear in the song - and yyh is what I expect to fall back on. If that's taken...why...the world will end.

Back on topic:
It's the same with anything really popular... Imagine if there are only 3 or so videos to your favourite song then you only have to look at 3 and hope you find a good one. But when there is >1000 videos to that song you have to wade through a lot of mediocore or just plain bad videos to find a good one. Of course there is more chance of a good one being out there... you are just less likely to find it.
and I must confess to using a evanescene song (oh the shame) in a video. When I made it there were only 5 vids and now there are 17... That's not too bad is it? At least none of them use the same anime as me.

Heh, I was thinking of Fuu-chan, Yusuke's big blue bird of resurrection, but the dragon is *much* more fitting. ^_^ I hadn't really thought of it, but a multi-anime vid would be just the thing. With Princess Emerade (magic knight rayearth) as the girl - perfect. Ah...the possibilities. And you're right about many vids making it hard to find one or two. But I really don't think there are any that have done the neverending story angle - if there are, they aren't advertising. ~_~
