First AMV

Actually I guess you can say this is my first AMV. The other vid listed in my profile was created before this one but I made it with fansubs and the video quality is beyond poor, making it unfit to watch. This one is not nearly as embarrassing.

Embarrassing? Well I suppose that compared to many vids here it isn't exactly something to make your eyes bulge out. Plus it's an Evangelion AMV.

Well you'd be making Eva vids too if that was what you had to work with.

And besides....the music is not exactly popular. When last I check only one other vid used the song.

I'd love to know what I can do to improve overall and hey...if I'm doing anything right, I'd love to know that too.

One side note....when/if you watch this, don't adjust your volume. The opening is supposed to sound that quiet. It gets loud very suddenly so I don't want anyone to say I didn't warn you.

Okay, got it downloaded and watched. Her's my first impression:

It's mostly about Asuka with some sequences about Rei and a few about Shinji.

I like the video quality, still good when viewed at fullscreen 1024x768.
Music was nice, comical in a way, and fits into the amv in a good way.

As for the "bad," i'll probably write about it in an op later.

I plopped it in your "AMV" folder.

(But I used the command-line FTP client instead of that WebFTP thing you had that link go to, because I couldn't find any "Upload" button, and besides, it was all in German, even after I changed the language to English. Nothing against German, it's just that I can't read it.)
