PS2 video ripping
I dug around the site, through guides and old posts both, but couldn't find any mentions (Maybe I missed it?) of programs that could rip the FMVs from PS2 games. Is there anything that can rip them or do I have to wait for my new computer and capture card?

I've been having this trouble myself. A lot of people just use capture cards, but there's a site that offers all kinds of help with PS2 ripping. Although it's dedicated to(themuch illiegal) copying of the whole PS2 game instead of JUST the FMVs, it's still helpful.
Although none of this helped me since some games don't like these programs(and the game I want to rip doesn't), it might help you.
PS2 Modz Paradise.
The site doesn't have the greatest navigation in the world, so you have to really hunt around for the ripper you want. And if all else fails, they have a forum so you can ask for a ripper.
Although, if you're trying to rip FFX, you NEED a capture card, because there's something about the game. I think the FMVs are embedded or sommat and arn't seperate files...
ANyway, hope that helps you.
