I think the ninja would win in a one and one combat, the soldier would be too slow. But if they had weapons, i think that the soldier would win just because of the gun. But to show who really is the man then the fight would have to be a mano a mano match. I go for the ninja.

who would win depends a lot on the circuimstances ... you cna set up a million situations where either of them would win. however most movie's i've seen portray soldiers as loud, clumsy, and unobservative(sp?). While ninjas are generaly very quiet, fast, swift and normaly aware of almost everything around them. Bloody hollywood ... in my mind the ninja wins at least.

All your guys stereotypes aside, it all really depends on the man and whose desire to kill is greater. `, )

i agree with that, except for the last part ... your desire to kill can be tremendous, but if you fuck up and get turned into a leaky peice of meat or get turned into a pin cushion that desire to kiss isn't going to get you anywhere. Like i said it all depends on the circuimstances, who's more aware of their surroundings and just who's better.
