Static lines when previewing in premiere...
Premiere was working great last night and I previewed what I had done right before I went to bed. I started up Premiere a few hours ago and all the sections that I had previewed have these static cruddy lines just sitting on the screen. (It looks like someone drew multicolored lines of chalk horizontally across the screen). The video plays absolutely fine underneath them, but they are just sitting on top annoying the hell out of me. I tried to export a frame to show you, but it exports frames fine (without those lines). I tried to export an avi to see what would happen and the export did not have said lines.
Lines are not there when I work with the clips, they only show up in previews. I restarted my computer several times. I had not downloaded anything to my computer or changed anything in the premiere file between the time I shut down my computer last night and started it up today.
Um, anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Both were set to no fields??
Hmmm... You'll want to leave them that way.
This is only happening the the preview window?
What if you double click on a file in the bin window? Lines there?
You have "de-interlace when speed under %100" turned off... That's under the Video Options | Field Options.
Other then that it's strange. If you hit PrintScrn, then paste it into something like Photoshop or Paint, can you get get a screenshot that way?
Strange....hmmm

Yup.Both were set to no fields??
It's only happening in the monitor on previewed sections of the file.
All the files in the bin (the .avs ones) are crystal clear.
I tried to print screen and everything printed, but the monitor window was completely black in the image.
*sigh* I think i'm gonna go find that cd and reinstall premiere....

i reinstalled premiere and the lines are still there
Ugh. I even created a new .ppj and dumped some clips into there and previewed and the same thing happened.
Also, normally I have to keep the monitor window at 720 x 480 or else it goes black, but, when previewed, I can make the window anysize I want and the picture still shows up (I have no idea if that's normal, I just noticed it - I'm looking for all the clues I can find.)
I wish computers weren't so fickle
