Or Descartes' "evil demon" story.

I enjoyed Revolutions very much. And I nearly hated Reloaded.

I am a Matrix fan but I thought that movie was very disapointing. I thought the ending sucked and the fight between Neo and Smith was horrible, there wasnt much actual fighting it was just flying around and mud wrestling. And for some reason Smith was beating the hell out of Neo when in all the other movies it was the other way around.

What about the first Smith-Neo fight in "The Matirx"?

Anyone else notice the blatent rip offs of Eva, X, and Dbz in the Cinematography and Dialogue?

I was just waiting for Smith to be like, "Neo... I am your... TWIN STAR!"

Yea I guess you can say that but by the end of that movie Neo kicked his ass with one hand. But in the second movie he fought like a hundred Agent Smiths at the same time and basically kicked there ass. So then all of a sudden Neo cant even beat one agent smith which doesnt make much sence. And where did Smith learn to fly?

Is it me or did no one notice that smith completely assimilated the matrix for himself..including all the programs and programers....perhaps that's why he could pull all the crazy shit he was doing. Once again he became the formidable foe we all came to love an know.

Spoilers wrote:The impression I got from the movies was this:

1) Neo looses to Smith in the subway because he's still not alert to his abilities.

2) Neo awakens and beats Smith in the corridor.

3) Neo looses to the Smiths in the park. He has to run away as they get to be too much for him to handle.

4) Smith in Revolutions has all that power from his almost entire domination of the Matrix world. In his own words:

"Like what I've done with the place?"

Hence his abilities. Neo doesn't have the power to beat him. In fact, he loses. Then Deus Ex Machina takes over and fries the Smith program from the inside.

If you didn't catch it, Smith was Neo's opposite. He was supposed to be able to do pretty much anything Neo could (flying, move super-fast, cross over between machine world and matrix). But I think the reason Smith went from less powerful than Neo to more powerful than Neo was because Smith "merged" or w/e with the Oracle.

spoiler wrote: That was one of the main points of the movie. Smith was basically a glitch the Oracle used in order to get the Architect to release the humans. Because the Architect couldn't stop Smith from taking over the matrix, he had to yield to the Oracle's demand to free the humans because only the Oracle knew how to stop Smith: with Neo. However, once the humans were freed, there would be no need for the matrix and it would shut down anyways, but i guess that's better than a matrix full of Smiths.
