ASPI layer problem

i keep getting an aspi layer problem, how can i resolve this? ive d/led the ASPI layer package but dont know what else to do.

What OS you running? What ASPI layer?

OS = Windows ME ( :( )
ASPI = Force Aspi (one of the newest)

well, when i turn the comp on it says that my ASPI layer is not installed/not installed properly and whenever i put a disc in the dvd-rw i get the blue screen of death!

BTW it's been going on ever since i uninstalled Nero, maybe that has something to do with it... : |

it worked, i have no ASPI layer probs....but i still get the blue screen everytime i put a disc in...any suggesttions?

Well the ASPI and blue screen problems must not be related. Does it do it when you put in any disc or just a dvd? What error message are you getting?

If I were you I would looking into losing ME ASAP, it is the worst of all windows OS's, by far.

im trying my best to get an XP disc, but for now it's all i have....:'(

anyway the error happens every time i put in ANY kind of disc...ill get back to you later with what the blue screen says later, maybe, seeing as it allways crashes the ENTIRE computer everytime it happens =/
