Guy's aren't supposed to be femme, so that in itself seems...naughty and confident.
It's like when you see a guy with his hair dyed pink. You notice, because it's just not done by "normal" guys.
Plus, keep in mind the audience - girls are more likely to empathize with guys who think/look/act more like girls than guys, because girls don't really know how guys operate (and vice versa).
