hardcore: hatebreed, biohazard

grindcore: napalm death, brutalized(russian)

black metal: opeth

thrash: skitzo, old megadeth

industrial: rammstein, and possibly stabbing westward(if you could classify as industrial..it borders it on the darkest days album anyways)

grunge era: alice in chains, candlebox

metal: slayer, pantera

punk: the exploited, black flag

classic rock/metal: black sabbath, motorhead

classical: frederik chopin, Gustav holst
