Reloaded Rocked with Morpheus kicking ass on that highway scene with A KATANA!!!! I want to get one so bad now! anyway Matrix was REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD!!! then they just made matrix too 'Commerical' for money. It should have been more like the Star Wars Movies back in the 70's! then it would've been like the bestest movie ever.... then again episode two was ok....episode one WAS really good! I dunno about star wars episode 3....hope it's good..

yeah and the katana fight was weak, Blade 1 and 2, Equilibrium, Kill Bill, and every ninja samurai spoof had better katana action than what Morpheus did in Reloaded

I think he was just refering to the car slicing. Despite the shortness of it, the slashing + automatic fire + gas tank exploding was quite badass.

That is what I was referring to.....I wonder about that Tom Cruise movie called The Last Samurai...you think it could have good swordfights? or would it be too damn boring?

My response to that is.........
Life is Shattered...There is no need to go on...in this human-filthed planet....Escape is not possible. To try and wipe them out is absurd...they are like cockroaches....

The whole idea of fighting for a half-assed peace between the machines and mankind was crappy. That's not much of a compromise. Humans are still being used to power the machine world, and Zion is left defenseless.

What the hell is the deal? This is the same kind of peace-loving nonsense that's in every other mecha anime. In all the UC Gundam series', along with Tekkaman Blade/Tekkaman Blade II, Gundam Wing, and quite a few others, there is no definition of victory. Instead the war is just dragged out. These guys really need to learn some tactics from Otto von Bismark.

Also, like the first film, Reloaded gave me a false impression of how the third one would work out. The way the Architect described the age of the Matrix, and the way Neo could "feel" the machines in the real world (much like he could in the Matrix), I figured the Matrix was built layer upon layer. That's really the only way the Oracle could predict what would happen in the real world, along with Neo's new-found powers. I'm sorry, but the root of Neo's abilities is similar to those of Morpheus and Trinity: it's the realization the Matrix isn't real, and the laws of physics can be tweaked. The only difference is how fast a learner Neo was.

Finally, Agent Smith as Neo's evil twin was kind of lame. I could see Agent Smith as more of a relentless predator after Neo, like Arnold in the first Terminator film. In "The Terminator", though, Kyle Reese is NOT Arnold's opposite. He's just another guy trying to fight off an unstoppable machine.

Basically, they made Neo too much of Jesus-figure, Morpheus went WAY too loopy with the prophecy, and the One's powers should've never bled over into the real world.

We're all with you on that one, at least thoes with sense.
I have sense. Reloaded bored me for the most part. Revolutions interested me, for the most part. Simple as that.

The ending wasn't great, and I would've much prefered the "every character you've seen was a machine/program, the machines actually lost the war, the humans created the matrix to fool all the machines into thinking they won" ending. But I liked it. Also: Neo's powers aside (it's a miracle!), it made sense to me.

Which is not to say that Revolutions even comes close to being great.

the Last Samurai looks like a rather promising movie. I'm actually looking forward to it.
