I love these arguments because religious people always end up being confused for dogmatic people, and in the end, science looks stupid.

Tab: No offense, but most of the arguments you use involve half truths and myths like that council of blah blah blah that removed the reincarnation crap. That's like the whole palistinian argument about how isreal is really their land and such crap. Missinformation and the like. Now fetch me apples.

As far as my stand for science goes, I tend to believe:

"We have used the latest human technology of carbon dating to determine that the Earth has been around for billions of years"

over

"This big invisible guy, called God, decided 'why the hell not!' and Bang Boom the earth was created"

I dont care what people believe in, either way is fine with me. The only thing I get mad at is when people try to force their beliefs on other people thinking they are doing them a favor.

All that I care about in this life is living it. Im not gonna spend years trying to figure out why I am here and end up wasting my precious time living.

Mas, have you done the carbon testing? Or are you taking the scientists word for it? Of coures, man is fallibul, so if can't write a book a la the bible correctly, how would he be able to determine the age of the earth without fouling up?

Frankly, the human suggestibility and ability to believe in the most farfetched, illogical, unreasonable and clearly disfunctional stuff still amazes me.

But, if this makes you feel safer and more comfortable in the world, go ahead. Myself, I continue to be surprised as to why people constantly attempt to make their lives simpler by complicating them exponentially with useless concepts.
