Didn't Kenshin take place at the end of the 1800s? I mean, early in the series there's an ep or two in which the Kenshin-gumi (as a friend dubbed them) takes a ride on a train and gets their picture taken. Both of those would place the series probably at least after 1850. And I think at the end of the series someone talks about it being the turn of the century, but I'm not sure. *shrug* Technicalities, but yeah...

You might be right, I don't remember wether it was 1810 or 1860. Either way, James Howlett was still a child during the 1860's.

I think, more importantly, we should ask who would win in a fatal-fourway between Kenshin, Samurai Jack, Haohmaru (from Samurai Showdown) and Misturugi (from Soul Caliber Series)?
Assuming they were all in the same room and had to fight to the death! THE DEATH!!!
Oh hell, throw in Yoshimitsu (Tekken Version) and One of the man characters from Onimusha Series as well!
