I wish scientists would just make up their mind.

Remember kids, if you have your own opinions, you'll find yourself skewered to a crucifix, being stabbed by an indifferent Roman guy with a sharp stick, all because you were making it more difficult for all your "friends" to swindle your followers' money. This is why I love the Bible. All the information is in one easy to read place. Not only does is contain science, but also humanity, sociology, and everything else man would ever need. String theory? Darwinism? Who needs those lies. I have got my Bible which has all the right answers.
The Bible doesn't explain science. Their form of "science" is that God created everything, so rest your pretty little head, and go to sleep only knowing God is "keeping the answers from us for some higher purpose". All women must immediately become servants to their husbands, and walk two steps behind them, because God says women are always inferior to men.
Funny thing about the Bible. It doesn't explain the functioning of the universe, but as soon as Galileo, Copernicus, and Darwin (all of them believe in the Christian God) give theories as to how God made the universe work, Christians start trying to kill them off.
Guess it pays off to be stupid, and just follow the crowd like a bunch of sheep. After all, that's the survival strategy of the Iraqis, Chinese, Russians, Koreans, Vietnamese, Germans, and French, and look how well it worked for them!
Job. 26.7
"He stretches out the north over empty space, and hangs the earth upon nothing"
The Bible (like any religious textbook) isn't a science text book. It's point is not to explain everything there is to know about everything, it's to tell people what the God it speaks of wants his/her people to know. So next time you decide to bitch about how the Bible doesn't explain the concepts of time and space and particle physics, stop and think about what it's there for in the first place.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

You have officially lost the right to criticize me for anything I do. And cosidering that's ME of all people, you should feel some degree of shame.ErMaC wrote:Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?
