Incarnations of Immortality?

Sounds like Piers Anthony to me. ^"^ Or maybe too much mythology. Sad to blame the Seven Seals for something like this - fiction is easier.

Not so much immortality, conceptuals and emotions can exist in both sentience and nonsentience. There are a variety of factors which govern that sentience. Human beings are in themselves immortal...in a way. If you destroy a humans mind though, then they are simple done with. Not that, that is such a terrible thing, most humans are rarely the same thing from one moment to the next. For instance if you could travel back in time and meet yourself, you'd probably find that you are two very different people with very different ideals, beliefs, opinions, etc, etc. Everytime you learn something, experience something, etc, etc what you are as a being is destroyed and recreated...it's a constant process. The "you" that has finished reading this for example is not the "you" that started reading it. What "you" were no longer exists. He, he, he...

The forever that just is. Time is just a function of change and motion. Since all change is truly an illusory manifestation of the changeless, time is just an illusion of this unreal reality.

as I said, differentiation is an effect of the changeless expressing and actualizing itself. Manifested and relative differences like good and evil don't hold up very far past the emotional self. Now if you want to consider yourself the prinicpal of destruction, kind of like Gevurah in the Kabbalah and Shiva in the Hindu Trimurti, that's a whole different thing. Destruction isn't bad, it's just the counterpart of creation (Chesed, Brahma). Still, both are just methods through which IT manifests and de-manifests, whatever IT is. Transient things.

Of course you can destroy the mind, it's as impermanent as the body and the emotions. The *core*, though, 'Atman', is featureless and by nature unchangeable.
Even if you manage to destroy mind, emotion, and body, it'll continue it's transgression upon the world of manifestation.

Now, manage to somehow split a person from atman and remain existing in the lower worlds, then you've got a problem. Not that couldn't be solved in a few billion years or so, but in the mean time not having a soul would suck ass.

ROTFL...oh I am quite evil. In fact I'm probably the most evil thing on the entire planet right now...of course I kinda had to learn that the hard way. I'm curious as to where your beliefs originated. If they came from the demon in your head, I'd be most interested. I dunno whatthefuck brand of metaphysics you're on, but a soul is sort of a prerequisite to EVERYTHING. Birth/formation/creation only occurs when the 'soul' (which is a misused judeo-christian term that I'm just entertaining) chooses so. You're trying to disticntify and seperate things that don't have any real definite seperations, and you're trying to make the like.. lower two human vehicles more than the others which they're not.

*sigh* Everyone always wants to know ALL the particulars. What do I look like, a freakin Encyclopedia? There are things of which I know, but I know nothing of their nature. There was a time when I thought I was just REALLY clever, but uh...then I started to notice strange things started happening every time I got REALLY clever...so now I usually try and not.

Actually it's more of your sense of self, your emotional understanding and conceptual understanding of the reality you're in. People's souls are comprised of various degrees of each and thus when you die, your soul is ripped to pieces and is fed off of by conceptuals and emotions (higher dimensional, non linear life forms)

...I do feel sorta bad about something...Honda is gonna wind up killing most of the driving population if I don't do something about it. *sigh* Sometimes my influence on reality is REALLY fucking annoying...especially when it gets munged up. I wasn't thinking just hydrogen powered cars, I was thinking HYDROCARBON powered cars. IE hydrogen molecules encapsulated in a honeycomb construct of carbon molecules, which would be SAFE. A tank of fucking hydrogen...holy fucking keeristmast...*shakes head*...those morons are gonna wind up turning every road in America into a potential fuse just WAITING to be lit.
