Storage Server Maintenance Outage
Hey All,
The local video storage server will be down for a little while sometime this week for maintenance. Downtime should be no more than an hour when it happens. Exact time schedule is unknown at this point, but all effort will be made to have it down for a little time as possible.
The storage server is having a hard drive replaced, Hyperthreading turned on, and is moving rack locations so that it can cross-connect with the coming new web/database server. The bandwidth limit is also going up from 30Mbps to 50Mbps (more downloads!!! w00t!!!).
The new web/database server will be dual Opteron with mirrored stupidly-fast SCSI hard drives and 8G of ram (it was going to be 4G, but a very generous donation came in at the last moment). That server should be up sometime mid December.
Thank you again for all of your generous donations. Every single one of your donations, no matter how small, has helped greatly! Without your contribution, none of this could have ever happened!!

And this is perfect timing for this also, cause I'm getting cable soon and can actually start downloading vids again (stupid 26.4kbps dialup)...
Fyrt: The Opera browser picks it up, I tried resuming a vid for the hell of it about 15 times while it downloaded and it picked up everybit of it
