Tab probably knows what I mean, but I should probably clarify for other people reading it. On the one hand I claim to be more than human, and as such it stands to reason that I should have knowledge and understanding which is also beyond that of a human. If it can be proven that my "ideas" are derived from an existing source created by humans, then it might stand to reason that I am indeed human and not actually more so than that. Do you understand?
I think you're perhaps approaching an innocent inquiry as more of a subtle jab at you than is strictly necessary.
Not at all, that's just what you see.
To clarify, as mentioned in my previous post (which I would be interested to hear your reactions to, assuming you read it), I seek a discussion here, not an argument. Just because I currently have different beliefs to you does not necessarily mean that I am only out to hammer mine into you; arriving at a superior hybrid via discussion is a lot more useful to both parties.

I feel that you are likely to take this post and somehow turn aside the intention of goodwill behind it, but I'd like to believe that you are willing and capable of being reasonable and not taking your own words and interpretation of other's as gospel truth. Please don't prove me wrong.
No offense or anything but the "arguing" actually ended about a dozen or so posts back. Tab and I are just having a lil spot of fun in the realm of philosophical understanding and research. ^_^

Oh, I realise that the main argument has died down, I just didn't want to start a new one by implying that you were being overdefensive. And, insofar as I only see your reaction as being overdefensive, why does that make it any less valid a viewpoint than that which you see- that you are reasonably defending against a subtle dig at your ideas.

Your explanation of why you see Tab's comment seems such seems alright, although it's not something I personally would agree with. There is a linguistic point, though, that caught my eye that I am curious as to what you mean by:

"...I claim to be more than human..."

More what? Orange? Round? Smarter, faster, stronger? I think that your claim needs clarification. The expression is often used despite a certain level of ambiguity and I would be interested in hearing your interpretation of it.

Thanks for approaching this more reasonably than you have other items in this thread.

As I've said before, believe as you like. I am not being defensive in the least bit, but if that's the way you want to see the situation...*shrugs*...I don't much care.

There is a certain amount of data that I have which pertains to straight scientific facts if that's what you're interested in. One of the most "popular" aspects is my immunity to most biotoxins, diseases, etc. One of my favorite things to show people is what I call the sting test. Basically I find a wasp, yellow jacket, hornet, whatever and then aggravate it until it stings me. I give it ample time to inject as much of it's poison as it can before I end it. Once ended I let people marvel at how there is no swelling, no histamine reaction at all, because it's poison has no effect on me. Also for fun I like sharing drinks with people who are sick, just to show off the fact that I'm immune to human diseases. Aside from that I also posses a variety of physical abilities which are well beyond that of a human. Although admittedly they are not nearly as good as they could be (mostly because I don't take the effort to really develop them). I have spent some time maximizing the ability of my right arm though, it's quite something to behold, seeing how fast I can punch. I'm also much tougher built than humans, stronger bone structure and the like. I once got hit head on by a car going around 30mph, painful, but it didn't break any bones. In fact in my entire life, despite my sometimes reckless behavior, I've never broken a bone. In all honestly, I'm not even entirely sure if they can be broken. That's not to say I don't feel pain though. And my skin is not all that powerful. The one time I actually hit a semi-solid object at full force with my right arm, yeah, didn't break any bones, but my ENTIRE fist was completely bruised over from the impact of the hit. Aside from the physical I also posses a variety of mental abilities. I can think on levels that most humans can't, it's hard to really measure though because you humans think a certain way and all of your mental tests are designed to test intelligence within that way of thinking. That's why when I take classes and such I usually get mediocre grades however in practical application of the knowledge I can greatly excel beyond any human. I also have occasional moments of clarity in which I have access to knowledge and understanding even beyond my normal capacity, usually doesn't last more than a few hours. In that time I can create rather incredible things, but after the moment is gone I usually lose most of the understanding that it took to create them. Although I don't have it up online anymore, the labyrinth I created for my Insanity Now site is a perfect example. I no longer understand the math that I used to create the labyrinth so I haven't been able to expand or improve upon it, which is why I don't have it up anymore. It was uh...something about seeing the beginnings in the ends and something about inversion and reflection of the pathways...but there was something else about the pathways, a way of seeing them that I can't now. It was sorta like seeing a pile of rope, all twisted, gnarled, and knotted together, but it somehow made sense on a mathematical level...*shrugs*...anyway.

There are a lot of other examples I could give, but the bottom line is that I am simply more than human, on a variety of levels, most of which even I do not fully understand.

Seems human enough to me, albeit certainly above average, but then again I don't know you personally to judge that.

You'd be surprised what us apes can do :P

Impressive nonetheless.

Holy shit, you really are paranoid. That's hilarious. Apparently you've got a bad case of selective attention, or are just really bad at reading into things, else you would've noticed that your 'demon' is already accounted for by pretty much every philosophy I've seen and based on the way they define what you describe, your demon would be far from a perfect source  controversely, you should've noticed that I considered humans as having higher aspects, from which true divine inspiration could originate. Thus, everything I've been saying totally contradicts your weird backwards hypothesis that by observing your 'interesting' beliefs I'm trying to somehow prove you wrong.

That demon isn't too smart.

Since you entirely missed what I was trying to say here:
So far I'm just tossin out a bunch of pieces of different philosophies I've read up on, and then interpreting your responses through them and through your own proposed philosophy.
I'll restate it, in new demon-readable form.
Basically, ever since you started talking about your demon I've been doing nothing but observing for the simple reason of learning. In such, I've thrown out some other stuff that I've gathered from here and there and seeing how you account for or respond to that according to your.. unique.. ideas. Then I take your response, compare it to a bunch of said philosophies, and also interpet it through itself, in order to get a hold of the nature of your condition.
Someone comes up with claims that they're a demon and believes it as much as you do, when you study the mind as much as I do, fuck yeah I'm gonna listen.
Ahhh, but do you know Tab as well as I do?
Yeah, good job on knowing me through forum posts on the internet.

Of course the demon isn't very smart.

Come on, it possessed a pasty-faced fatass kid from a small town in Oregon. It probably got kicked the fuck off the astral plane for not being good enough at being a demon or some shit.

Seriously. Just think about it for one second. If you're going to possess someone, why don't you possess someone with power, money, political pull? Not some dumbass kid from a backwater town.

God is the way.
We just can't find the entrance to the way.
