Technically It wasn't King Colds sword it was Trunks' sword.King Cold took it from him.

You thought Goten was cool in dbz?

What episode? I missed a few in the latter Buu saga, but every part with Goten in it made him out to be a male version of baby Pan - a soft child who only thinks about toys and would probably burst into tears if someone knocked over his icecream cone. I admit, chibi Trunks was annoying at times, but he did have a character. Goten seemed there for looks only. If there are episodes where he has an attitude (any attitude besides submissiveness), I'd love to know which ones. Even in the tournament, the only bit of character he showed was when he first cheated and turend ssj so he wouldn't be beaten so soon - but by the end he was right back to 'oh, toys, okay that's all I care about anyway 'cause I'm a cute kid.'

Goten wasn't annoying, but I didn't see anything that would make him 'cool.' So really, if it's in one of the episodes I missed (I missed about 6 of them here and there), do let me know.

Well, I was a bit disappointed that the spawn of Vegeta and Bulma ended up so..pansy-ish. I mean, c'mon. Vegeta has an ego the size of Jupiter, and Bulma's isn't too far behind, and what do we get in their child? At least the Trunks from the future had some sack and the attitude of his father.

Well, I probably shouldn't say this since there are Goten supporters above me, but I'd say the difference in the two versions is that chibi Trunks had Goten. Yeah, he had his dad around to make him train (but you know Bulma kept Vegeta from training him too much), but he also had cute little Goten to keep him immature. Mirai Trunks didn't have a young childhood friend, he had a much older, very mature Gohan as his companion. Even without the fact that he grew up in the middle of a 'war', growing up with someone so much older makes a kid mature faster. Chibi Trunks may have had Vegeta as a role model, but you know they didn't really spend any 'quality' time together so all he picked up was the stubborn cocky attitude - which was then softened by his constant companion Goten.

What I'd like is to see Mirai Trunks pick up some of his father's stubborn/cocky attitude (which only showed in those first episodes with frieza) - he already has the maturity from Gohan and pride, but I wouldn't mind if he were a little more like chibi Trunks when it comes to his father's traits (that annoying but endearing cocky nature). Chibi Trunks was doomed - even when Goten got older he was still very simple (it turned to girls instead of toys but it's the same idea). And I think it's safe to say that Gohan in the present timeline turned into a wimp in his 'adult' days (thank you chi-chi) so there's no good influence coming from there.

I like Piccolo, because he makes the lasers that go through the people.

I liked him better as an Evil guy working for the moment on the side of Good.

Heh, if I knew a pink-haired Trunks I'd probably think the same. ^_^ It's a good thing DBZ's Trunks has lavender-blue hair and not pink.
