At least I'm glad to know there is a second season. Now I can finally see everything all resolved (knock on wood).
If you live in the U.S., Cartoon Network played it, and knowing them they'll play it again. That or you could wait for the dvds....(Big O's second season was 13 eps long bringing total rp count to 26)

quote="Spoiler"]Everything is all made up. Angel made up that whole world. There was not really an event that wiped out memories but she just didn't want to include everything in her play. Paradigm is just a stage. Everyone is an actor. They are all part of her imagination. This is possibly in a computer world. In order to make things more simpler she (Angel Rosewater might I add) never inputed what happend in the past and just let everyone live out their lives. There has been more than one Paradigm cause she had reseted the world when the "disaster"/"event" hit. It's almost like a matrix. Anyway, that is how Roger could exist 40 years ago and also 20 years after the fact and still be 20. There are better explainations out there though. You probably want to do a little research online. This is a wild assumption that I am making based on what I have seen and semi read. [/quote]

BTW Anlu...just to doublecheck, didn't they confirm Paradigm was originally Manhattan?
Spoiler wrote:Big-O's Roger Smith was inspired by and loosely based on Batman without the batsuit and with a mech. And yes Paradigm City is New York. During the series you see the Brooklyn Bridge, The Chrysler Building, JFK airport, Wall Street, and Grand Central Station. Paradigm City is in essence the same as the holodeck program on Star Trek Voyager where they had the program of the Irish Village, except that Angel apparently really is an Angel and the "holodeck" Paradigm City is in belongs to God. I didnt like the ending for Big-O. Its like they spent 23 episodes setting up this real cryptic and mysterious background story of a hidden past, the tomato kids, Roger and Dorothys past, Dastuns past, the background story of the Megadeus's, and all these subplots..and...doesnt matter cause none of it is real anyways. To me the show felt like they were writing as if they thought there would be a 3rd season, then suddenly decided to end it in 3 episodes so they threw together a rushed blanket covering ending. In season 2 the episode of the Russian satellite falling out of the sky on Paradigm City, Big Duo blowing up when it hits the lights? Doesnt matter since none of it was real.(
