Okay, going back to my current series obsession: Utena.

Throughout the student council arc (the first thirteen episodes), Utena wears a white rose on her chest. With one exception.

Who was her opponent the one time she doesn't wear a white rose, and what color is the rose she does wear?

Nope. Her rose was not black.

I believe you might be thinking of the Black Rose arc, which was episodes 14-23.

From Rurouni Kenshin TV: In the 95-episode TV series, how many different ending songs were used over the course of the series? You don't need to name them, just a number is enough.
