Hehe. I used to be a pure dubber. But after seeing awesome Subs such as Love hina, Hellsing, Full Metal Panic, and Ranma 1/2, I started to lean near the middle. The more I watch anime, the more I like subs. Right now I'd say I'm 45% dub fan and 55% sub fan. In general I watch an anime both ways and stick with the best/most appropriate voice acting.

I'm primarily a subber. But If I'm watching anime 'idlely', like spending the whole day playing Civilizatin and anime on TV at once, I'll switch to the dub so I can understand the dialoug when not looking at the TV.

Unless I'm watchin' Fansubs, then I must dedicate attention to the television. :(

I'm a subber, but that may be because I'm used to watching all movies and TV shows subtitled anyway.

Personally, I prefer subbed.... It sort of keeps the original "flavor" of the anime.... Like with Gödel's theorem on formally undecidable propositions or whatever it's called. I prefer a 20 page introduction about the notation to something with modern notation.... Same with Shakespeare; sure there are complete revamps of the text, to make it more modern, but it just doesn't carry the same meaning as the original. But I don't mind dubbed anime.

I've said it once, I'll say it again, I watched things subbed. The only time I watch things dubbed, is when it's in any language other than english... I hate english dubbing with a passion!

i watch subbed, basically always...EXCEPT there is only one exception to the rule: Anything that Dave Lucas does VA'ing for...even if the rest of the cast sucks, i really dont care...but other then that, its subbed for me.

It depends on how good/bad the dub/sub is/are.

Examples:
GoldenBoy = Dub > Sub
Lodoss = Sub > Dub

All things being equal, dub.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab
