Hey i never really though about it that way ... but yeah that makes total sense ...[ENTER SPOILERS] all three of them lost their mother in some horrible accident ... like shinji lost his mother in an expriment, asuka lost her mother through suicide, but im not tooo sure about rei ... ill have to look into that .... But u kno wat, shinji is the worst because he didnt have his father also, he was abandoned but him so he is sort of the worst of them all.

I agree that the creator is hinting that motherhood and fatherhood together is a very important role in a childs upbringing, especially a mothers upbringing because they are the usual ones that takes care of the children while the father is bringing the food home ... well thats my 2 cents about that

Last I checked those were pirated songs being used in all those AMVs up for download. Last I checked no one had to sign any kind of waiver saying they actually OWNED the music being used in the AMV they were downloading. Hypocrisy much? o_O

And to that other guy who posted that link to that incredibly biased piece of scare tactic stupidity...uh...yeah, they only present the "law" from one side, there are actually quite a FEW laws in regards to copyright law and even more specifically digital media copyright law in which there are ALL SORTS of exceptions from "educational purposes" to "making personal backups". In the REAL world, the only people who get in trouble are the ones trying to make a profit using someone elses merchandize. If the Faux News style article you posted a link to were actually true, why does KaZaA still exist? Why is it that no one has sued SD-6? Or what about FTV? Or what about all the other countless major encoding groups that are distributing high quality SVCD C-Band sat rips of nearly every show on prime time? Hrmmm? What's your explanation? Why isn't Johnny Law stopping all those bad men? How come they aren't in jail, having all their stuff confiscated, yadda yadda, etc, etc?

That was a pretty funny and clever post, to touch on a couple things (quickly).

Yeah I was good. I got 1st team all conference in the one of state's (arizona) toughest conferences, we played and beat the defending utah state champ and beat Prescott who was ranked #2 at the time. I was a captain on the best team my High School had had in over a decade. I went on to play college football in colorado. Just for your information.

My old Computer Science friends at Colorado State were'nt retards, they were just EXTREMELY nerdy. I wasnt a nerd in high school, but I was a geek as late as Middle school. The difference (to me) between a geek and a nerd is that a geek looks like a dork and a nerd acts or obsesses like a dork. I've never been a nerd, nerds still make me laugh. Thats why I always make friends with nerds.

Neither are a lot of things you can get badly sued for. In colorado there has been over 200 lawsuits this Fall for using Kazaa. I still use kazaa, but I'm careful and download reasonably, and I absolutely wont allow uploads.
I don't really feel bad about it, because file sharing is a fairly complex and unresolved legal issue, particularly with fansubs, which are being completely ignored right now (its the record companies that are making the lawsuits). I still spend every spare dollar I have on anime, something I wouldnt be doing in the first place if not for fansubs and AMV's getting me into anime.
