Anyway, I remember Phade specifically mentioning, on the member page, that Final Fantasy is one of the games that would be allowed. So I think that's a good basis as for what can be accepted.

Well, I watched the vid... Very unoriginal song choice...
At least your editing shows some potential, my advice:
1: Try coming up with a central theme to you next video, make it about a certain event or certain character, and try to pick a song with lyrics that match. Basically, think before you edit.
2: Do a little more research on capturing and encoding footage, AD and ErMaCs guide is great.
3: Try to pick a more consistant part of the song to time with, the drum beat or the lyrical notes or something.
4: Practice, Practice, and Pratice.
