I bet you two are just upset about the no pointless horniness rule, but I relent and realize that this quite frankly is a pointless thread, but aren't all threads essentially pointless? Name me one anime thread on this site that actually has a point. Besides, if you think about it you would realize that essentially everything is pointless considering your constantly wasting precious time of your ephermal life on unimportant, unessential activities... like reading this thread.

And you can't really blame the product of a sleep deprived mind when you realize that I came up with this just for the heck of it and cuz I had nothing better to do at 3 in the morning. 8)

Hey, I found some threads with points, amazingly enough. Maybe I should look around better next time before making uneducated and ignorant posts. But I have realized that all the threads that have a semblance of a purpose dont usually have as many posts as pointless ones. Hmmm...could that possibly be a representation of the current state of the members of our society? (no need to answer this, its rhetorical)

In the meantime, this question sounds like a self-insertion fic to me. I've actually seen dozens for this very plot: "Heero gets transferred to my school and he has to tutor me," "My new neighbor turns out to be a demonfox named Kurama, and he's going to my school this year."

Usually they're dumber than dumb fics with no plot, no point, except to have a chance to fantasize about interracting with a fictional character. Rather like men daydreaming about naked actresses. ^_^

As for me, I can fantasize as well as any hormone driven man downloading music vids to see a certain singer in a halter-top. I'd want Kurama at my school because he'd be the perfect sort of student to hang out with, since I'm academically inclined. Of course, I'm not in school anymore, but it's a fantasy, so that doesn't matter. I'd also want Yusuke and Kuwabara there so they can wreck havoc on the place since they are the epitome of troublemaking teens. And just for kicks, I'd import the GW boys in one of those cliche 'undercover mission fic' situations. That would make for a very interesting school year. Who knows, maybe I'd write it sans the 'self insertion.' ^_^

I belive i would pick Love hina cast but it would be nice to hangaround the cast of I my me strawberry eggs.(They get them self in such weard situations,but the down side is there is no girls whit big samuray swords,pity.)

You know, as stupid as some people insist these threads are (ahem...whatever) this IS a public board and no one has a right to decide what type of threads are pointless or not. Personally, I think posts like these are fun.

Let's see...if I could have anime characters at my school, I'd like to have the YYH crew. They just seem like an interesting bunch to go to school with...but considering how freaking lame my school is, just about ANY anime characters could liven it up.

Eh...actually Phade has been very open about the fact that *he* decides what is and is not pointless - what is and is not useful enough to be kept a part of the forum. It isn't a public forum, it's Phade's forum. He owns and rules it, and just lets us play on it out of the kindness of his heart. Check the long locked thread about the OT deletion, that's the reason people are now worried about 'useless' posts in General Anime.

OT was deleted because it wasn't useful or intelligent enough, and people abused the privilege Phade granted them by posting 'bad/ignorant/useless' things in it. By that rule, General Anime will quickly follow unless people stop posting here.

Doesn't mean I'll stop posting in these threads - they are interested and fun for a few minutes. But they *will* be deleted if Phade wants them gone, and there's nothing anyone can do about that because it is his site, his rules. There's nothing 'public' or free about this place. ^_^;;
