[What happens to Kenshin in Reflection?] [SPOILER]

I just got SamuriX: Reflection. And after watching it a few times with my freinds we all wondered weather Kenshin dies right there or lives for awhile. I think he dies but I hear alot of people say he lives. Anyone wanna touch on this?

1. Wrong Forum. This belongs in General Anime, or something like that.

2. It doesn't say if Kenshin dies right then or not. Considering that his son have grown a couple of years, he may have died by then, givin his bad health.

As Insane Keyblader has said, first off wrong forum.

To answer your question, with respect to that OVA, Kenshin does in fact die from whatever disease he has (TB?). By the same token, in the manga (which is the original), he does *not* die and lives happily ever after. To me (and maybe others), I consider the original manga artist's ending the true ending and Reflection just Sony trying to make more money (esp. since the manga creator wasn't involved in it).

yeah you can tell by the way Koaru reacts and the fact his x shaped scar dissapears.

The disease he has in Leprosy. Only Takasugi and Okita has TB in the series (wait one girl does in the Shimbara Arc..forget ehr name)

Well you can say that based on the OVA. Based on the original manga, they'd be correct in saying he lived. Also, his scar *does* fade in the manga...it didnt' require him dying for that to happen. Just that people (including himself) forgave him.
