I want to get movie maker 1 back, please tell me how

I downloaded windows movie maker version 2 and I HATE it, can somebody tell me how and where I can download the first one please?

You could try going to add-remove programs in the control panel. There is a section in there for windows components. Remove it, and then put your windows xp cd in the drive and click add. Then re-install from the cd.
I dont have windows installed to verify, but it should be something close to that.

What do you mean by windows update? I updated movie maker to version 2 from 1 and I don't like it.

he means that a windows update may allow you to revert back to wmm1. also try this. navigate to start>programs>accessories>system tools>system restore , and restore windows back to a date before you installed wmm2 (xp automaticaly creats a restore point before everything you install)

I think that without reinstalling Windows, you're unfortunately out of luck.

You could just go into program files and delete windows movie maker 2 then download 1.
