song suggestions for Lord of the Rings...

i thought of another, if you have warcraft 2 CD, there are some songs on the CD that could work with LOTR. (well they're both about humans + elves + dwarves vs orcs + demon thingies, kinda)

Maybe not an obvious choice...
One of the first things to come to mind when you said "instrumental" was, of course, classical. Particularly, "The Planets" by Gustav Holst. Tomita (a Japanese artist) has also taken this orchestral piece and recorded it using digital effects, were you to want to give it a different feel. You might be able to make a project out of this idea.
