Actually, watching yaoi anime was a big part of coming out to myself, so in a way it does, provided you're already that way inclined.

It's *very* similar, at least as far as Shido's past is concerned. It just has the modern twist for his current profession - and Cain is a *bit* more tenacious than Lestat was. ^_^;;

No, it doesn't have a movie - but Ithaqua knows about it from amvs. ^.~

As far as I know, it is just a short series, two dvds. But I *have* seen a case for a third on some Japanese sites. I just haven't figured out if it's an original case for the set, a bootleg cover, or really a third dvd to finish up the 'sort-of' cliffhanger the series ends with. >.< I need to see if there's a manga for this series.
