If so, is it possible that you could translate a song for me?
Pretty please
Juliet by The Pillows
here is what the japanese lyrics are supposed to be:
Yokubatte naiteta
oki ni iri no
RETARD no kutsushijta o
yabutta PRESENT
Nanimo kikoenai ame no yoru ni
LEAK no naisho de
damatte tsuredashijta
Kumotta kumotta kumotta megane de
kurutta kurutta jidai o nagameteru
Juliet, don't cry
kimi no iro de machichû o nuritsuise
Imi no naku saezuru CANARY to wa
mô nido to odoranai
chikatta nichiyôbi
MATILDA to osoroi no
RIFLE o te ni shijte
shiroi jûjika o neratte uchiruita
Tozashijta tozashijta tozashijta kokoro ni
yuganda yuganda kizuato kakushijteru
Juliet, don't cry
kimi no kage wa sô nagaku no bitsutzukeru
Kumotta kumotta kumotta megane de
kurutta kurutta jidai o nagameteru
Juliet, don't cry
kimi no iro de machichû o nuritsuise
Even if it's not 100% accurate, it's ok. I just need to get an idea of what's going on.
This song has the right atmosphere for a music video I want to make, and the chorus fits as well. It would be nice to know what the rest of the song means before committing. It would probably help in making the video better as well.
(so you know - the video I want to make is just a 'practice video' because I want to get better before making the one I'm planning on, btu I still want the practice one to be decent...)
Is there anyone here who knows Japanese?

blah blah blah what blah rain blah blah blah....
Hmmm. Not too helpful, am I...
But really, if the mood of the song fits, then go with it. Worrying about the lyrics when I'd say more than 80% of your target audience ALSO won't know what it means is kind of silly.
But if you've just GOTTA have a translation...hmmm. Japanese is mucho hard for me, I'll just work on the chorus (having the lyrics in the actual kana would help, too...hmmm).
Here's an attempt...without the kana, I can't be terrible exact.
CHORUS
Kumotta kumotta kumotta megane de
clouded (?) clouded clouded glasses are
kurutta kurutta jidai o nagameteru
coming coming and seeing the time
Juliet, don't cry
do you need a translation?
kimi no iro de machichû o nuritsuise
(someone, probably I) am erasing your reason for waiting
Best guess I can give ya. I suck with verbs, still. I'm too lazy to do the whole song. The on-line dictionary I use is Jim Breen's WWWJDIC http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/wwwjdic.html
